Who We Are Looking For

At Datapyre, we are building one of East Africa's most capable digital technology practices. We are looking for people who combine technical rigour with commercial curiosity — people who care deeply about outcomes, not just outputs, and who want to do some of the most interesting and impactful technology work available on the continent.

We are a small, senior team. That means you will have real ownership of your work from day one. You will not spend your first year watching others; you will be designing, building, and running systems for real clients with real stakes. We expect a high standard and we hold ourselves to the same one.

What We Look For

Across every discipline — engineering, marketing, design, analytics — we look for the same core qualities: intellectual honesty (the ability to say what you actually think, not what sounds good), operational discipline (showing up reliably, meeting deadlines, communicating clearly), and genuine curiosity about how technology creates business value.

We are less interested in where you studied than in what you have built, shipped, or improved. We review portfolios and work samples seriously, and our hiring process is designed to assess real capability — not rehearsed answers.
